ONE OF OUR SIGNATURE PROJECTS: The OVWC is dedicated to promoting and improving the health and wellness of the community. In 2020, it partnered with the Ohio County Sheriff’s office and purchased a Golden Retriever. Remington, or Remi as he is known, successfully completed training to become a Comfort Dog. Remi has provided comfort, love and encouragement to those suffering from tragedy and sadness. He has been available to local first responders, schools and businesses.
